Reimagining
Belonging
Fotographico is dedicated to reimagining belonging through the lens of photography, storytelling, and cultural reflection. We create and curate photobooks, monographs, and critical essays that explore identity, memory, and place—bridging personal narratives with collective histories. Rooted in a commitment to artistic integrity and collaboration, Fotographico seeks to amplify voices that challenge boundaries, embrace nuance, and redefine how we see ourselves in relation to the world.

This work does not exist in isolation. Fotographico thrives on the support and collaboration of like-minded artists, writers, designers, printers, and cultural institutions who share our belief in the power of images and words to shape how we understand ourselves and each other.
Our network extends to thinkers and makers who push beyond conventions—those who act of preservation and disruption, documenting histories while imagining new futures. Whether through limited-run editions, artist talks, or community-led projects, we align with those who value craft, experimentation, and the lasting impact of tangible narratives.
Together, we are building a space where photography books are not just objects, but vessels of meaning—where stories are held, shared, and reinterpreted across generations..
Greenport Gazette is an independent biannual spontaneously published twice a year with a nuanced perspective of the world by way of the North Fork looking at music, food & beverage, human interest & travel. Back in 2003, Hilary Duff sang “Anywhere But Here,” and we took it to heart ever since. This bitch is finally coming soon. Greenport Gazette only exists in real life. Listen to the playlist for the vibe.

The photographer Irina Rozovsky grew up in Russia before moving to the United States with her parents as an 8 year old. She was shaped by the memory of her childhood under the Soviet regime, she knows from experience how much political as well as social factors shape the conditions in which people live. She travels with the camera above all to countries where everyday life is often overshadowed by preconceived, stereotypical clichés as regards nationality, race, and religion. This is where she has set out to capture moments of silence and to be up close for a moment to the urban vitality of a country and its inhabitants. In this way, the photographer manages to build in her works a subtle and also open ended narrative structure. After several highly regarded photo series on stays in Israel, Irina Rozovsky traveled to Cuba in 2012. "Island in my mind" emerged from that material. The project received the first prize in the Dummy Awards at the Kassler Photo Book Festival in 2014. So as a cooperating partner of the Festival, Kettler has included the publication in its programme.

Carpoolers is a photobook by Alejandro Cartagena that documents Mexican workers commuting in the back of pickup trucks, revealing issues of suburban sprawl, labor, and social stratification in Monterrey, Mexico. Photographed from an overpass, the images show laborers packed into trucks, often with their tools, highlighting the long commutes required by the city's unplanned growth and the economic divide
“Carpoolers is a deceptively powerful photobook, so well constructed that we’re suddenly eager to see more of something we had previously ignored.” —Loring Knoblauch for Collector Daily

“Away from the smog in cities, our hearts are drawn west, where the only dust is earth, and the only barrier is the sky. Head west for the silence that roars from a wild heart.”
