It all started when…
Perhaps you recall a series of overhead quotes (#northforktalk) that you may have found at your favorite bar or behind a dumpster; several poetry slams across the North Fork; a couple of zodiac parties, a video series around identity and tattoos, and an annual beach clean up competition that collected a little over 7,000 lbs off our local beaches across four seasons.. Greenport Gazette loosely began in 2018 in true guerilla style. We have been on hiatus since 2023, but now in 2026 Greenport Gazette takes the shape of a free spirited publication with a lens looking towards travel, human interest, food & beverage, music, and the bohemian.
Sometime back in 2003, Hilary Duff sang “Anywhere But Here,” and we took it to heart ever since. This bitch is finally here. Greenport Gazette only exists in real life.

By way of the North Fork, GG looks at travel, human interest, food and beverage, music, and the bohemian from multiple points of view. Based in Greenport, NY on the North Fork of Long Island.
