Poisoned Berries is a photographic series made between 2011-2012, following two figures drifting through a weathered seaside village suspended in decline. Set against vacant streets, salt-worn lobster cages, and open stretches of railways, forests, and cementaries, the work traces a relationship caught between closeness and distance. Moments of tenderness, unease, and quiet isolation unfold as the couple navigates desire, boredom, and the slow recognition of change. The images linger in the in-between—where intimacy feels fragile, restlessness hums beneath the surface, and escape seems both possible and out of reach.
