Saturdays at Matchbook • Step inside the distillery for an intimate, hands-on session with the minds behind the bottles. You’ll sip cocktails, learn how to properly nose and taste spirits, and get a crash course in the wild science of distilling. Then it’s your turn: blend your own one-of-a-kind gin using our library of botanicals — earthy, spicy, citrusy, floral — whatever speaks to you. Each guest walks away with a full-size 750ml bottle of their own custom blend, crafted with intention and ready to enjoy at home.

Screenwriting Workshop: Two writers (Spiridakis and Finkelstein) show scenes from movies that’ve influenced them. The emphasis is on dialogue - what works and why. The work of such directors as Billy Wilder, John Cassavettes, Louis Malle, David Lean, Alexander Mackendrick and Harold Pinter will be shown and discussed. We’ll trace the path these two professional writers have taken, veering as it has between poet and hack. Cautionaries will be dispensed with as much kindness as possible. 

This 6-week course guides students through the development of a cohesive photographic body of work. Through weekly critiques, sequencing and editing exercises, and discussions around concept-building, students will learn how to refine their ideas and strengthen their visual voice. T
